Maria Elizabeth Addington, age 20, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018.

Maria graduated from Richmond Hill High School where she was on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad. She was a member of Cheer Savannah for 8 years.  Maria was active in gymnastics and recreational softball.  She loved to paint and she had a special place in her heart for animals.

Maria is survived by her mother, Monica Addington of Statesboro; her father, James Addington (Michele Palermino) of Pooler; her sister, Megan Addington of Statesboro; her brother, Josh Burke (Cierra) of Richmond Hill; her grandparents, Betty Addington and John Griffis of Savannah, James L. Addington of Pooler, Gilda I. Mesorio of Richmond Hill; her nieces, Ella and Emma; her aunt, Patricia Phillips; an Uncle Rudy Mesorio; her dog "Adonis"; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
