Margie Juanita Hubert, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on May 19, 1950, in Paulding, Ohio, Margie's life was one of deep devotion—to her family, her community, and the simple joys that made each day beautiful. It was in Paulding that she met the love of her life, Lynn Allen Hubert, and together they built a lifetime of memories. They married at 18 and were inseparable for the next 47 years, until Lynn's passing in 2017.

Their love was a steady, quiet kind—the sort that endures through every season. Together they followed Lynn's military career before settling in Celina, Ohio, where they raised their two sons and created a warm, loving home.

Margie was a dedicated worker, spending over 20 years at Huffy's building bicycles before following her passion into teaching. She returned to school and became an instructor at Vantage Vocational School, where she helped shape the lives of countless students until her retirement in 2011.

In retirement, Margie and Lynn moved to Georgia—trading snowy winters for sunshine—to be closer to their son Matthew and his growing family. They eventually made a home in Richmond Hill, where she remained after Lynn's passing.

Margie was the heart of her family. She was a grandmother like no other—gentle, strong, wise, and endlessly giving. She had a deep love for crafts, and spent years crocheting, sewing, and cross-stitching heirlooms to pass down through generations. She made the best Christmas cookies and buckeyes, always with love in every bite. She shared her recipes, her knowledge, her warmth—and in doing so, became a thread in the fabric of so many lives.

She found joy in the little things: watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Criminal Minds, and she loved The Walking Dead, savoring a cherry pie or a cream horn, sipping French vanilla cappuccinos on a warm patio, and most of all, spending time with her beloved great-granddaughter, Margot, her "little angel."

Margie is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lynn Allen Hubert; her son, Micheal Hubert; her parents, Richard Sr. and Louis Hull; and her brother Jeff Hull.

She is survived by her loving son Matthew Hubert and his wife Christy of Guyton, GA; her grandchildren Miranda (Bobby) Morris of Rockford, OH, Zoe (Damon) Cox of Midway, GA, Kylah Hubert of Midway, GA, and Ethan Hubert of Guyton, GA; and her cherished great-granddaughter Margot Cox. She also leaves behind her brothers Richard Hull Jr. (AL) and John Hull (OH), and countless others who were touched by her kindness and light.

As per her wishes, there will be no formal service. Her family will gather at a later date to honor her memory, share stories, and hold each other close—just as she would have wanted.

She was one of the most loving, caring, kind, generous, and understanding women you'd ever meet. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. She will be missed more than words can say—but her legacy of love will carry on, stitched into every heart she touched.
