Lynda H. Brown, age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Hospice Savannah. She was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Rosemary C. Hughes. She was a native of Savannah and retired to Hiawassee Ga before moving back to Coastal Georgia.

She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Misty Mountain Quilting Guild in Hiawassee. She enjoyed being in the mountains, sewing, quilting and she loved spending time with her family.

Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Reaville M. Brown, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin Parfitt (Vance) of Richmond Hill, Ginger Tyler (Ferman) of Bloomingdale, and Michelle Ham (Jerry) of Shellman Bluff; her son, Bobby Tuttle (Patty) of Cobbtown; a sister, Virginia Corley (Dr. Ozzie Corley) of Charleston; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

There will be a vigil service at 5 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home followed by visitation until 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Martha Mary Chapel of St. Anne Catholic Church with burial to follow in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. Remembrances may be sent to Hospice Savannah or St. Anne Catholic Church.
