Lucille Engle Fortenberry, age 83, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Lucille was born in Greene, OH. She lived in Ft. Lauderdale for many years before moving to Richmond Hill in 1990.  She was a retired Medical Technologist.  Lucille worked for Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, St. Joseph's Hospital and Candler Hospital in Savannah.

She was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill. She liked gardening and pansies were her favorite.

Lucille is survived by her children, R. Chanc Fortenberry (Barbara) of Richmond Hill, Diana Lynne Thomasson (Forrest) of Chattanooga, TN, and Theresa Creber (Robert) of San Diego, CA; a sister, Charlotte Braho of New Castle, PA; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Martha & Mary Chapel at St. Anne Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Richmond Hill, GA.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required at both locations.
