LTC William Paul Brodany (RET) USA passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Bill was born in New York City, NY. He lived in Albuquerque, NM for a number of years before moving to Richmond Hill 6 years ago.  He worked as Senior Group Leader for Logistics at JCB.

He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and having served tours of duty in OIF (Iraq) and IEF (Afghanistan).

Bill enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley and smoking food on his grill.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Brodany; daughter, Gabriella Brodany; his parents, Ernest and Vera Brodany; his brother, Charles Brodany (Hannah); his sister, Susan Poole-Disalvo (Joe); mother and father-in-law, John and Rose Ann Caporuscio; brother-in-laws, Mark Caporuscio (Terry) and Aaron Caporuscio (Karin); and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2024 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. July 12, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville N.Y. 13066.

Bill will be laid to rest at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
