Lori Anne (Praydick) Agnew, 61, passed away peacefully from metastatic breast cancer on
Monday, April 1st, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a true warrior
and fought this battle for over 8 years.
Lori was born in Staten Island, NY and grew up in Leonardo, N.J. She graduated from
Middletown H.S. South, then moved to Eatontown, N.J. and earned an Associate Degree in
accounting from Brookdale College. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years until she
began a career as a Financial Advisor with Primerica Financial Services. Lori developed a
program called "Money God's Way," and was a very successful businesswoman. She eventually
became a Regional Vice President for Primerica and worked up until very recently.
She was a member and on the worship team of King's Highway Church in Atlantic Highlands,
N.J. for over 20 years. She was a very devout born again Christian and led many people to the
Lord.
Lori moved to Midway, Ga. 10 years ago with her husband Bill and attended New Life Church.
She loved music, coming from a very musical family and had been the worship leader at New
Life Church for a while. She was very active in many church programs including VBS, and she
co-led Bible Study weekly with her husband Bill.
Lori worked with many military families and children at Ft. Stewart. She had a sign language
ministry helping the deaf with their finances.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Thomas Praydick; two sisters, Debbie
Epaminonda and BethAnne Clayton.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Agnew; her son, Clayton Thomas Agnew
(Cassey); 3 stepchildren, Joshua Agnew (Corrie), Lindsay Allison (Thomas), and Luke Agnew
(Arina); two sisters, Kathi Meo (John), Chrissy Adamo and 12 grandchildren; 10 nieces and
nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 5th, 2024 at Fleming Baptist Church,
Midway, Ga. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church. A memorial will
also be held in N.J. at King's Highway Church in the coming months.
