It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Christine "Chris" Berry Née Rutland at the age of 64. She passed peacefully on February 25th, 2026. She spent her last days surrounded with love by friends and family.

Chris was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 3, 1961. She attended Georgia Southern University before graduating from Francis Marion University with a degree in Business Management. She worked in billing for Sommers Oil. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially while watching her beloved Georgia Bulldogs play football.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Brown Rutland, her grandparents Guy W Rutland Jr. and Marie Rutland Topple, and Sybil and Vernie Brown. She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years Bobby Berry, her son Campbell Berry, her father Guy W Rutland III, and her brothers Guy W Rutland IV (Lee Rutland) and David Rutland (Andi Rutland).

She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, wife, and friend. Someone who was always there for the ones she loved. She will be missed dearly.

Memorial services will be held at Richmond Hill Funeral Home on June 27th, 2026 at 1pm.

A Celebration of Life honoring Chris will follow the service on June, 27th. The celebration will be at 707 Strathy Hall Dr. in Richmond Hill (please follow signs designating parking areas) and will begin at 3pm. Food and drinks will be provided.
