Leighton Walker Brooks passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, music, service, and love for family. He is survived by his beloved mother, Andria Brooks and proceeded in death by his father, Terrill Wayne Brooks.

Leighton was born in Gadsden, Alabama, and throughout his life called several places home, including Bartlett and Franklin, Tennessee; and finally Richmond Hill, Georgia.

From an early age, Leighton displayed a remarkable talent and passion for music. During high school, he was selected to the All-State Chorus all four years, an achievement that reflected both his dedication and exceptional vocal ability. He was also deeply involved in musical theater, where his creativity, confidence, and natural stage presence left a lasting impression.

Following high school, Leighton proudly served in the Air National Guard. His service reflected his sense of duty, commitment, and willingness to contribute to something greater than himself.

Leighton was known for his quick wit, extensive trivia knowledge, sense of humor, and love of animals. He had a gift for finding joy in everyday moments and sharing that joy with those around him. Music remained one of the great passions of his life, providing both comfort and inspiration throughout the years.

Above all, Leighton loved his family. He treasured the time spent with loved ones and valued the relationships that shaped his life.

Though his life was far too short, Leighton's impact will live on in the hearts of family and friends. May those who knew and loved him find comfort in the memories he created and the legacy he leaves behind.
