Leigh Ann Forman passed quietly at The Savannah Square Nursing Home on April 9, 2018. Leigh was a longtime resident of Savannah. She came in 1997 with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama as Executive Director of Medicare for Georgia.

Leigh lived in Atlanta as a child before moving to Birmingham, Alabama where she attended Mountain Brook High School, graduating in 1973. Her life was forever changed when she attended Auburn University, graduating in 1976.  She later attended the University of Alabama, graduating with her Juris Doctor in 1980.  After law school, Leigh began working with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama until her retirement in 2006. Leigh's heart never left Auburn University. Her biggest loves were History, being an Auburn Alum and Auburn football.

She is preceded in death by her father, William E. Forman and survived by her mother, Jean K. Forman of Birmingham Alabama, and will be greatly missed by the many close friends she made throughout her life. Leigh had a great love of animals and volunteered at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah after her retirement. There will be a brief private memorial in Savannah with a memorial later this year at Auburn University.
