Laura Marie McNeal, age 85, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024.

Marie was born in Troy, Alabama to the late William P. Williamson and Clara Mildred Jinright Williamson.  She lived for a number of years in Columbus, Ga before moving to Richmond Hill 40 years ago.

She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  Marie was an accomplished author having written many poems and sonnets.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Frank McNeal; her sons, William Loy McNeal and Jeffrey Steven McNeal; her parents, William P. Williamson and Clara Mildred Jinright Williamson; two sisters, Janice Parker and Ann Eiland.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Moles; her sister, Patty Brown; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
