June Stacey Elliott Sasser, age 79, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

June was born in Savannah and grew up in Garden City.  She attended Groves High School and Armstrong State College.

She lived in Roaring Spring, PA for 5 years and was co-owner of The Duncansville Antique Depot.  June was also the former co-owner of The Southern Image Florist in Richmond Hill.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Stacey Elliott and Dorothy Hall Elliott of Garden City, GA.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas "Tom" Allen Sasser, Jr.; a son, Stephen Elliott Sasser (Katricia Campbell) of Richmond Hill; a daughter, Jennifer "Jenni" Sasser McDonough (Stewart McDonough) of Atlanta; two sisters, Joann Elliott Shaw (Barry Shaw-deceased) of Richmond Hill, GA and Janet Elliott Womble (Bernard Womble) of Garden City, GA; her grandchildren, Justin Sasser, Juliea Sasser, J.T. Sasser,  Suzannah Sasser, Kate McDonough and Lillie McDonough; a great-grandson, Andy Sasser Loudner; a sister-in-law, Nancy Sasser Campbell (Bill Campbell) of Hollidaysburg, PA; a brother-in-law, David Sasser (Becki Sasser) of Savannah, GA; and other family members including nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

A private Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
