Obituary

Judith Ann Stogdell 1942-2026, beloved grammy, sister, aunt, cousin, and best friend, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 12th.

Judi was affiliated with the Clinton, Illinois congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Judi loved people, and that was apparent in her work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She was also a very talented artist. Her work is on display in the homes of many family members.

Surviving Judi are her granddaughters: Nicole Gee, Tabatha Gee, great granddaughter Alyssa, great grandson, Riley, and three darling great, great grandchildren. Also, left to mourn her is her sister: Janet Johnson, as well as many special nieces and nephews: Brent (Lisa) Plackner, Andrea (Dale)  Pahan, Kim (Chad) Klassen, Blair (Amy) Plackner, Robert Gerdes, Jr. Susan (Ray) Chambers,  Jeremy (Shannon) Gerdes, Jonathan (Christie) Gerdes, and Jalen (Hailey) Johnson. She also leaves behind many great and even great, great nieces and nephews,  loving cousins, and very special friends, Linda and Mabel.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Jessie Ruth Stogdell, son, Raymond Frederick Gee, daughter in law Ruth Gee, grandchildren  Dillen, Justina, Jessica, and Austin. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth (Stogdell) Plackner and nephew, Joshua Johnson Sr. Judi will be missed, but never, ever forgotten!

Graveside celebration of life, for Judith Ann Stogdell, will be on July 25, 2026, in Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut, Illinois at 11:00am. Elder David Patterson Officiating. All are welcome.

The family would like to thank Bryan County Health and Rehailitaion Center for their care and kindness.
