Joyce Faye Walker, age 76, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Faye was born and raised in Savannah, GA.  She has lived the last 53 years in Richmond Hill.  She loved to sew and was a retired seamstress and the former owner of Faye's Stitch-It.  She worked for The Bridal Mart in Savannah for a number of years.

Faye was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was very active.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Elmer Walker of Richmond Hill; her children, Denise Perry (Jesse) of Ellabell, Jeff N. Walker of Rincon, and Debra Wise (Herschel) of Savannah; a sister, Carol Blake of Asheville, NC; a brother, Don Riggs (Becky) of Greenville, SC; a sister-in-law, Vicki Riggs of Savannah; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
