Joyce Kirkland Mock, age 79, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Joyce was born in Stone Mountain, Ga.  She lived for many years in Uvalda, Ga. before moving to Richmond Hill 5 years ago.

She was a homemaker and a private sitter.  Joyce liked drinking Coca Cola and eating Cheez-Its.  She enjoyed thrift shopping.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Josh and Beulah Kirkland; her husband, Charles Mock; and her dog, "Poochie".

She is survived by her children, Mike Spence (Robin), Barbara O'Neal (Barry), James Spence (Kim), Susan Johns (George), Donna Swanson (Kevin), and Charles Mock, Jr. (Leeannah); her sisters, Janine Darieng (Theron), Claudette Justice (Harvey), and Dot Karr; a brother, David "Chip" Kirkland (Carla); 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Remembrances can be made to the Humane Society.
