Joseph Nathan Griffin, age 70, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Joe was born in Savannah, GA.  He lived many years in Savannah before moving to Midway 5 years ago.  He was the former owner/operator of Integrity Roofing and had worked for Union Camp for a number of years.  He was currently the project manager for JCH Homebuilders, LLC.

Joe was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and served in the church's "Feed the Need Ministry".  He was the author of a devotional book called "His Hand Is Stretched Out Still".  Joe loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his children, Joey Griffin (Liz) of Bluffton, SC, Michael Griffin of Richmond Hill, GA, Jason Griffin (Mindy) of Charlotte, NC, and Jennifer Chancey (Joey) of Waycross, GA; two sisters, Carol Murray (Billy) of North Augusta and Sharon Cribbs (Chuck) of Franklin, NC; a brother, Clyde Griffin (Judy) of Savannah, GA; fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Daniel Baptist Cemetery.
