Mr. Slaughter was a dedicated family man, serving his country in the US Air Force and working as an electrician for National Gypsum in Savannah, GA. He was a hard worker, always putting his family's needs before his own. He loved spending time with his children and granddaughter.

Mr. Slaughter was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Marnie Slaughter, his son, Johnny Slaughter (Susan), and his granddaughter, Hailey Slaughter. He was a kind, loving, and generous man who will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will celebrate the Life of Mr. Johnnie Slaughter at a later date.
