John Daniel Miracle was born November 27, 1949 in Pineville, Kentucky.

He was drafted into the Army in 1969 and served in Viet Nam, joining the reserves in 1980 retiring in 1991. He retired from the U.S. Government as well. John was a collector of Louis Lamour books as well as pocket knives. He loved fishing with his brother Anthony and his grandson Christian James. He was a Christian and a member of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, as well as attending Compassion Church in Rincon. He and Elaine were active members of the Pooler YMCA.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine and her two daughters: Christina Bryant, and Theresa (Christian) Gines, and grandson Christian James as well as his children and grandchildren: son Joshua , and daughter Angela Crackel (James) and grandchildren: Corey, Brandon, Bailey, Abbey, Lance, Jordan and Jace; his brother Anthony (Kim), and his sister Brenda Bryant (Dale). He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita Ann Miracle, his parents Ralph and Ovelene Miracle and other relatives.

The funeral will be with military honors at Richmond Hill Funeral Home on Monday, February 1, at 11 a.m. with viewing one hour prior. Private burial will take place at Georgia Veteran's Cemetery, Glennville.
