John Richard Spry, Jr., age 43, passed away on October 1, 2025. Born on June 13, 1982, John was a lifelong resident of Richmond Hill, Georgia.

He attended Trinity Baptist Church and lived a life filled with hard work, and a love for the outdoors. John worked in site preparation with Riverbend and spent several years with Roberts International in Pooler, GA. Known for his skill and dedication, he was respected by his coworkers and friends alike.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. John especially loved teaching children how to hunt and fish, and he had a special heart for mentoring those from broken homes.

He is survived by his loving parents, John "Tad Pole" Spry Sr. and Betty Spry, as well as his brother, Brandon Spry of Ft. Myers, FL.

A Celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 at King's Ferry Boat Landing on Highway 17.
