John H. Johnson, 57, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

John was born in Dodgeville, WI.  He lived in Germany for 17 years before making his home in Richmond Hill 22 years ago.  He was a US Army veteran and the former owner of JS Pool and Spas.  He was an inspector for Gulfstream Aerospace.

He liked building things, having BBQ's by the pool, and camping.  John was a loving husband, father, and Opa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Susie Johnson of Richmond Hill; a son, Dennis Johnson (Michelle) of Guyton; his mother, Clara F. Ruhl of Iowa; sisters, Earlene Robbins of Wisconsin, Laureen Peacock (Bill) of Wisconsin, Joni Sheets (Mike) of Texas, Charlene Lutes (Kevin) of Wisconsin; a brother, Robert Johnson (Cheryl) of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Sophia Johnson, Kaitlyn Richardson, Devin Qualls; and his beloved dogs, Ella and Rubber Toe.

Visitation will be held from 5:30pm-7pm, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 7pm.

Military honors will be rendered at 6pm.
