John "Johnny" Mitchell, age 24, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023.

Johnny was born in Savannah. He grew up and spent most of his life in Richmond Hill. Johnny was his happiest when he was spending time with his family, especially his son Davion. He kept in close contact with all his family, always reminding them he was thinking about and loved them. He loved jesus, taking pictures, blaring his favorite music, eating zaxbys, playing cards, and shooting dice. Growing up he loved to draw, play basketball and skateboard.

He was a very loyal person. He was unintentionally, naturally funny. He was a very gentle, loving, and kind soul. He was respectful. He faithfully believed in Jesus Christ as his lord and savior and that he saved him. Although his time on earth was short, the impressions he left and how he made people feel will last forever. He is resting peacefully in heaven with his brothers Willie and Will and will be missed dearly by all who knew him

Johnny is survived by his son, Davion Mitchell; his mother, Sylvia Mitchell; his father, Darrin Mitchell; his sisters, Paige Love (Tyler), LeAnna Mitchell, and Raelynn Mitchell; his brothers, Tylor Mitchell and Chris Mitchell; his maternal grandmother, Pam Tucker; his Paternal grandparents, Henry and Maebelle Mitchell; his maternal great-grandparents, Paul Coke and Helen Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews that he adored.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
