John "Jack" Daniels passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2023 at the age of 67 at his home in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Jack was a devoted husband, father, and Pop-Pop. He grew up in Southwest Philadelphia and his engineering career took him to Texas and Florida before he settled in Richmond Hill, Georgia. He was a proud graduate of Williamson College of the Trades and earned his graduate degree from Widener University. He also had his Professional Engineer license, and worked at Westinghouse, TurboCare, and Mitsubishi Power Systems during his long and successful career. He was a firm believer in the value of education and the power education had to change lives.

Jack was a professional mentor to many, and a friend to all. He never met a stranger, and he truly left an impression on everyone he came across, no matter how briefly. He was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and a Eucharistic adorer. Jack was an accomplished piano player and continued to hone his skills later in life by taking lessons from Jody, the music director at his church. He loved music and was in many bands including Plan B in Houston, TX, and the Marsh Tackies in Richmond Hill, GA. Jack enjoyed taking his boat out to fish or just cruise around, and he was a lifelong beach lover. He loved adventure and taking his motorcycle out for a ride. Jack was a devoted AOH member and organized their annual charity golf tournament for many years.

Jack was predeceased by his parents John and Claire Daniels, and his brother Paul Daniels. He is survived by his wife Cory; his three children Carly Daniels, Jack Daniels, and Jamie Gasparovic (Ryan); his two grandsons Leo and Luca Gasparovic; his sisters Cathy Haines (Bill) and Gigi Michalak (Rick) and his sister-in-law Tamara Daniels; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated for Jack on April 14, 2023 at St. Anne's Catholic Church; visitation at 11:00 a.m. and funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m., with a reception to follow in the Holy Family Hall. A private burial at sea will occur on April 17, 2023. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Williamson College of the Trades ( www.williamson.edu ) and St. Anne Catholic Church ( OSV Hub ).
