Joeann Woods passed away early Monday, July 31st, 2023 at Hospice Savannah. She was 81 years old.

Joeann graduated from Groves High School and spent most of her life in Chatham County. She was a homemaker and loved shopping. She liked to fish and loved her dog "Joey".

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hawley Woods and her son, Aaron Woods.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Woods Williams (Greg); sister-in-law, Barbara Woods and grandchildren, Anthony Williams (Hali), Hunter Williams, Alex Williams (Emma Garrett) and great-granddaughter, Abigail Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm this Friday, August 4th, 2023 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 12:30 to 1:00 pm.
