It is with great sadness the family of Jill Kristen Anderson Cope, announces her passing, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, age 40 at Savannah Hospice.

Jill was born to Sharon (Allen) and Dennis "Denny" Anderson, November 10, 1977 in New Brunswick, NJ. The family resided in Spotswood, NJ until 1985 when they moved to Midlothian, VA. Jill graduated from Midlothian High School in 1996.

Jill attended and graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Hotel Management and Tourism. After graduation she moved to Savannah, GA where she worked in the hospitality profession.

Jill married Brian Cope in 2005 and moved to Charleston, SC. While in Charleston, she earned her Real Estate License. She returned to Georgia in 2009 and followed her passion for animals by starting her own successful business, Home Comforts Pet Sitting.

Jill was a loving daughter and sister, a cherished friend, and an immensely compassionate animal lover. She had a gregarious personality, enjoyed the beach with her dogs, shooting pool and hanging out with friends. Her smile was contagious and she always saw the good in others and was willing to go out of her way to help them. She deeply touched the lives of all whom she met. Jill will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Sharon Anderson; brothers, Eric (Jennifer) and Todd (Emily) and nephews, Nathaniel, Jacob, Nicholas, and Samuel. Jill will also be forever remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church in Richmond Hill with Pastor Terri Landers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
