Jennifer Coley Witt, age 47, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the Morris Center for Caring in Jacksonville, FL after a lengthy illness.

She lived in Richmond Hill for a number of years but has lived in Jacksonville, FL for the past 20 years.  Jennifer was a 1994 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and was a homemaker.  She attended Trinity Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

Jennifer, also known as Jenny Lou to her friends, loved and cared deeply.  She loved fishing, being on the water and she loved hunting even though she rooted for the deer.  She loved her dogs and the Georgia Bulldogs.  She was late to everything so much so that it was thought she was going to be late to her own wedding.

She loved reading, sudoku puzzles, Judge Judy, and breakfast at the Waffle House.  Every day was some kind of adventure.

Jennifer was a generous giver and loved making people smile and laugh.  She loved her family and friends and being with them.  All she ever wanted to be was a mama and her girls were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Witt of Jacksonville; two daughters, AnsLeigh Witt and Addison Witt both of Jacksonville; a step-daughter, Brittany Corbett (Dillon) of Jacksonville; her parents, Harry and Margaret Coley of Richmond Hill; her brother, Scott Coley (Maggie) of Pooler; nieces, Grace Coley and Harper Coley.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Remembrances can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice.
