Jeneen Shawntae Kernan, age 36, passed away at home, Friday, December 29, 2017 after a brave battle with cancer.

Jeneen was born in Downey, CA. She lived many years in Orange County, CA and a number of years in Fort Drum, NY.  Jeneen and Robert moved to Richmond Hill three years ago where he is stationed at Fort Stewart.

Jeneen attended Compassion Christian Church. She was active in fitness and was a member of the Stroller Strong Moms.

She is survived by her family who she loved dearly; her husband, Robert Kernan; her two sons, Brody and Max Kernan; her mother, Rose Dunlap; her sister, Leslie Romel; and her brother, Jermaine Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will held on Friday at 11:00 a.m., in the Burnt Church Cemetery on Highway 144 East in Richmond Hill.
