Jeffrey "Jeff" Phil Fusile (age 56) departed this life on October 2 nd , 2022. Jeff was the retired president of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and president of The Ford Field and River Club Board of Directors. Jeff was born on June 27, 1966, in Hackensack, New Jersey, to the late Ronald and Jeanette Fusile of Manassas, Virginia.

Jeff graduated high school in Duxbury, Massachusetts, where he played football and basketball. Jeff then attended Florida State University and earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance. Jeff always kept busy.  While at FSU, Jeff worked for a moving company where he lied about his age so he could work overtime and earn money to pay for college.  Jeff also served as the Treasurer for Alpha Tau Omega, where he developed many lifelong friendships with his ATO fraternity brothers. After graduating from FSU, Jeff became a licensed CPA and began his accounting career in Tampa (with Ernst & Young, Paychex and Peterson/Navigant Consulting), before moving to Atlanta, then to Indianapolis (with PriceWaterhouseCoopers), and finally to Richmond Hill. Jeff made friends throughout his career that included scores of people of varied ages, locations, and backgrounds, who can each tell a good story about their times together. In every place he lived, Jeff was an active and passionate member of the community, working closely with local charities and most recently working to establish a local nonprofit organization, Our Community Cares (OCC), to proactively support the needs of all people in the Richmond Hill community. Jeff will be missed for his quick wit, compassion, and never-ending drive to improve the lives of those he held dear.

Jeff loved his large family and many friends and spending time with both. In addition to being a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Jeff's second "church" was at his fire pit sharing a cigar and bourbon or bottle of wine with anyone who happened to be at the house. Jeff's other passions included golf, pickleball, and watching college football, particularly FSU and, more recently, Georgia Tech.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife Teresa Fusile and their four children Regina Fusile, Joe Fusile, Alex Fusile, and Wade Fusile. Jeff is also survived by his two sisters Jill Eckert of Bealeton, Virginia, and Dana Ryder of North Field, Ohio. Jeff was so proud of his family and all their tremendous accomplishments. He was such a proud father.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at 10:00am on Friday, October 7, 2022, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 10550 Ford Avenue, Richmond Hill, Georgia. A prayer service will follow at 11:00am. A reception will be held at the Ford Field and River Club Main House.
