Janice Barnes Tomberlin of Richmond Hill, Georgia, went home to be with her LORD on March 3, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1951 and lived 69 years. She was a graduate of Savannah High School, 1970. She retired after 26 years of service with Coastal Electric Cooperative where she is well known and loved by her community. She was a member and active at Corinth Baptist Church and has served to disciple many throughout the years.

She is survived by her son, John Zadra Tomberlin (spouse Tory and children, Elly, Ty and Gibby), daughter Katherine Tomberlin Johnson (spouse Jeremy and children Payton, and Addison Joy), her brothers Freddie (spouse Teresa), Gibby (spouse Ann), David (spouse Clara), and her sister Sandra (spouse Buster). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her parents Norris and Leveta Barnes and grandson Jayce Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on March 6 at 11AM. The family will receive friends at 10AM. Burial will be held at Corinth Baptist Cemetery directly following the funeral.
