James G. Pilkington, age 67, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

Jim was born in East Meadow, Long Island , NY.  He has lived in Savannah for the past 45 years.  He was a pianist having played at the Pink House in Savannah.  He also played with The Swingin' Medallions and with Emma Kelly.  Jim liked to write and loved spending time with family and entertaining.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald J. Pilkington and his brother, Greg Pilkington.

Jim is survived by his mother, Catherine M. Lamb of Richmond Hill; his sisters, Joyce McJenkin (Steve) of Apollo Beach, FL and Gail Bailey (Don) of Bloomingdale, GA; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church.  The family with receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
