Jacquelyn B. Pate, age 89, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at The Oaks at Pooler.

Jacquelyn was born in Glennville, GA.  She lived most of her life in Savannah and Richmond Hill.  She was a retired Bookkeeper for Bouy, Hall & Howard and was a member of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church.

She loved to play bingo.  Jacquelyn liked watching game shows and going for walks.  She enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.  She liked spending weekends with family in Glennville.

Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Clara Branch; her husband of 52 years, James Howell Pate; and siblings, Arthur Branch, June Padgett, Shirley Mock, and Diane Clark.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Roberts (Jimmy), Jimmy Pate (Ann), and Jane Rahn; a sister, Odene Lehman; a brother, Gary Branch; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fountain, Arthur Mixon, April Morris, Jason Tucker, Kathryn Alexander, Cade Alexander, Aaron Alexander; great-grandchildren, Makayla Clark, Chase Mixon, Gianni Mixon, Sierra Morris, and Alley Tucker; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Tru Alexander Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
