Jacqueline Gay Gresham, age 60, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Jackie was born in Eufaula, AL to Bobby and Maxine Thomas. She has lived in Hinesville for the last 23 years. Prior to that, she lived in several states as a devoted Army wife. She supported her husband, Joe, through 21 years in the military on numerous deployments.

Jackie was a loving mother and grandmother. She stayed in touch with all of her family and loved them very dearly. She loved her animals and plants. Jackie was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in Eufaula.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Thomas and her sister, Robin Peoples.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Joe Gresham; her children, Jaslyn Myers (Billy), Jason Cole, and Stevie Scott (Mckay); a step-son, Brandon Yragui (Whitney); her mother, Maxine Redd; and nine grandchildren.

A walk through visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2020 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Burnt Church Cemetery in Richmond Hill.

CDC and state rules will apply along with social distancing. Face coverings are recommended for the protection of all persons.
