Jacqueline "Jackie" Burdette Strickland, age 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Hospice Savannah.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, Jackie spent many years there before making Richmond Hill her home 35 years ago. She was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. Jackie was a faithful and dedicated member of Corinth Baptist Church, where her kindness and servant's heart touched many lives.

Jackie enjoyed sewing, crafting, and spending time with friends over a cup of coffee. She treasured the simple moments in life and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. Her gentle spirit, caring nature, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronnie Strickland.

Jackie is survived by her loving daughter, Angela Kennedy (Jeff); her son, David Strickland (Metinee); her brother, James "Jimmy" Carter (Joanne); and her cherished grandchildren, Chloe Strickland, Ethan Strickland, and Parker Kennedy, along with several extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Corinth Baptist Church with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jackie's memory to the Corinth Baptist Church Building Fund.
