Ivey "Jabo" L. Spence, III, age 54, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

Jabo was born in Savannah, GA and has lived all of his life in Richmond Hill.  He worked for over 35 years in security at International Paper Company, formerly known as Union Camp.  For two years, he and his wife owned Richmond Hill Florist.  He was a member and past Master of Bryan Lodge 303 and was a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years with the South Bryan Fire Department.  He was a member of First Baptist Church Richmond Hill.

He was a big Dale Earnhardt and Georgia Bulldog fan and he loved computers.

Jabo was preceded in death by his parents, Ivey L. Spence, Jr. and Anna Kate Olliff Spence.

He is survived by his wife, Kathi Elliott Spence; his son, Ivey L. Spence, IV "Bubby"; his brother, Ben O. Spence (Kandie); two nieces and six nephews; and his dogs, Biscuit and Bailey "Junior".

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the services.
