Helen M. Covino, age 87, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2019 at Hospice Savannah.

Helen was born in The Bronx, NY.  She lived most of her life in Yonkers before moving to Dover Plains and then to Savannah five years ago.

She was head of the Ice Skating Lesson Planning at Murrays Skating Center in Yonkers.  She was an artist and was in charge of all the art work for the skating shows.  She enjoyed painting many pictures throughout her life.  Helen loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Anthony Covino; three brothers, Byron Lawrence, Bobby Goldberg, and Richard Goldberg.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Linda Covino of Savannah; her son, Nick Covino (Lisa) of Atlanta; two brothers, Lester Gallup of Teaneck, NJ and Dondald Goldberg of Westwood, NJ; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were private.
