Harry D. Brigdon, age 81, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at his residence.

Harry was born in Savannah. He graduated from Bradwell Institute in Hinesville.  He was a master plumber and was the owner of H.D. Brigdon Plumbing.  He was a member of Local 188 Plumber and Pipefitters Union.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Harry was a member and past president of the Exchange Club in Richmond Hill, past State President of Exchange Club, former Chatham County Sheriff's Posse under Carl Griffin, former member of Richmond Hill Marine Rescue Squadron and Army National Guard, past President of Geechee Goofers Square Dancing Club, Richmond Hill Lions Club, the Circle M Riding Club in Savannah and presently the President of First Volunteer Regiment of Georgia. He was member Ardlsey Park Baptist Church.

Harry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Cribbs Brigdon; his son, Harry Brigdon, Jr.; a sister, Ruth Ulmer; a brother, Lamar Brigdon; his grandchildren, Hunter Brigdon, Sarah Brigdon, and Emily Brigdon; great-grandchildren, Hunter Brigdon, Jr. and Eleanor Brigdon.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Brickyard Cemetery in Savannah.
