Richmond Hill-Harold J. "Pop" Dove, age 90, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Harold was born in Bitterne, England. He has lived in Richmond Hill since 1987. He was in the British Merchant Marine during World War II and retired from the Georgia Ports Authority as a Port Captain Marine Surveyor.

Harold was a member of the Richmond Hill Friends of the Library.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Lucero Dove.

Harold is survived by his loving companion, Pamela Jackson; his daughter, Jennifer Wick (Michael); his sons, Stephen Dove (Lorraine), Jonathan Dove, Jamie Dove (Meegan), Jeffrey Dove, and Jason Dove (Stephanie Brown); and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
