Mr. Gerald L. Smith of Richmond Hill, GA entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 15, 2021.

Gerald was born on September 27, 1935 in Mathews, GA to John and Frances Smith.  He was a SSGT in the U.S. Air Force.  After the service, he opened Smith's Construction Co. in Savannah, GA.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Annette Cribb of Richmond Hill, GA; daughters, Geri Cruz of Richmond Hill, Traci ODonoghue (Harry) of Savannah, GA, and Lisa Davis of Savannah, GA ; son, Gerald "Bubba" Smith (Michele) of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, James Rank, Russell Cruz, Christopher Cruz, Ethan ODonoghue, Hannah ODonoghue-Julian, Caleb Smith, Kiera Smith, Shelia Alojado and Shelbi Miller; sister, Linda Wilson of Stateboro, GA.

Due to the continuing pandemic, the family has opted not to hold a public service at this time.
