Gary was called home to Jesus in the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 1.

Gary was born in California but lived in Richmond Hill since 1984. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Crystal; his favorite pup, Buster and his beloved bird, Charlie.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Rebecca; Daughter, Trinity; and Son, Gary Jr. all of Richmond Hill.  Dad, Duane "Gene" (Jeannie) of Richmond; Brother, Dennis (Vita of New Bedford. Sister, Arlene (Mike); Nephew, Quinton all of Rincon. Nephew, Brandon (Alicia) of Springfield and many other relatives.

A memorial Service to share memories, will be held Friday, August 13 ^th at 11AM at Bethel Baptist Church in Richmond Hill.

My heart is shattered and a piece of me is gone! My Gary my beautiful husband of 17 years gained his wings early Sunday Morning Aug 1 and was sent to his forever home in Glory !!

He is home with Jesus, with his beautiful mom, his nephew and heavenly host of other wonderful friends and family members!!

Gary and I were together for 18 years and although he wasn't perfect, he was perfect for me. He was a goofball who conned me into going on Kraken at Sea World several years back, I had no clue what I was in for and wanted to ring his neck afterwards. Lol.

When we lived in Midway we were pulling into our yard, Gary saw a possum, threw the car  in park, went chasing after it and caught it. We were in our bedroom same place in Midway, he saw some deer late on cold evening, opened our window and yelled "booga booga booga", I don't think I ever saw another deer lol!

Gary loved working in the garage tinkering around with small engine repair and rebuild, he loved doing so with Jr. as well as watching him play video games or funny YouTube videos. He loved Jr. very much!!

He loved and was so proud of Trinity, he was so happy because she was starting her senior year soon!! She used to love watching WWE and he would watch it with her when it was on. We took them twice to see it Live in Savannah.

He absolutely loved birds, especially cockatiels and cockatoos!! He loved watching birds and animals on YouTube when he was not watching Buckin Billy Ray Smith or Cars and Cameras or something similar so long as it was  related to tinkering with or repairing or building  something!!

Wishing right now you were calling me from the phone in our bedroom, while I'm in the living room asking me for a refresh on your 7up or asking me what I have to snack on, what's for breakfast or diner or to make you some pizza rolls and bring you sour cream with it!! So many many more memories!!

We will miss him forever, right now it really hurts but we will keep him alive in our hearts and through lots of memories! We will get through, one day at a time, somehow, but we will get through!!

Just keep our family especially the kids in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days!! Thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts for your outpouring of love, support, and generosity, it means a lot to us and w ould've to him as well.
