Francis "Frank" Laws, 80, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Accordius Health at Emporia.

Frank was born in Crestview, FL.  After graduating high school he joined the U.S. Army.  He retired from the Army as a SFC E-7 and then later retired from Picadilly Cafeteria after 18 years.  Frank worked at the National Bank of Fredericksburg for three and a half years before retiring for good.  He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, and gardening.  He was a member of the DAV and was also a member of Scottish Rite of Free Masonry in Savannah, GA, a mason with Bryan Lodge 303 F&AM in Richmond Hill, GA.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn Laws; children, Sonja Laws Edge (Andy) and Shawn Laws Curtis (Tracy); grandchildren, Heather Helmandollar (Cory), Dustin Curtis, and Josh Busch (Jurnee); great-grandchildren, Madison Helmandollar and Sadie and Abigail Busch; siblings, Byron Laws (Denise) and Neil Laws; sisters-in-law, Amber Laws and Mary Ann Lambert (Don), Millie Stone, and Carla Stone, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Laws; brother, Donald Laws; sister-in-law, Suzanne Laws; brother-in-law, James Stone; and nephew, Scott Stone.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Masonic Rites will be given by Bryan Lodge #303.
