Florence Brown Skinner, age 101, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Florence was born in Savannah and graduated from Commercial High School.  She lived in Palatka, FL for about 25 years where she and her husband owned and operated a motel.  She has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 15 years.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Skinner; her daughter, Margaret Stafford Vickery; a son, Donald Stafford; a step-son, Charles Skinner; two sisters, Mary Brown Thompson (John B. Thompson) and Margaret Brown Dowden (Roy Dowden).

She is survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; her son-in-law, Carlton Vickery; and her daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Martin Stafford.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the graveside.
