Fay Loraine Wollenzin, 86, passed away on July 17, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia, just one day before her 87th birthday. Fay was born on July 18, 1938, in Miami, Florida, and spent most of her life there before moving to Palm Bay, Florida then settling in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Fay worked as a student administrator supervisor, for Florida International University (FIU), where she was known for her dedication and her caring spirit toward students and staff alike. She was active in the Jaycees of Miami, serving as president for two years, and cherished the friendships she made through that organization.

Fay loved shopping, making floral arrangements, and spending time with her friends and family. She brought warmth and joy to every gathering, and her creativity and love for beauty were evident in everything she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Mary Baggett; her husband Charles Wollenzin Sr.; brothers, infant Wilbur Baggett, Roger Baggett and wife Mary, Walter Baggett, Donald Baggett; half- brothers, Fred Baggett, and Edward Baggett; brother-in-law, David Williams, and her nephew Paul Williams.

Fay is survived by her son, Charles Wollenzin Jr. (Sherry); daughter, Deborah Yaroch (Matthew); grandchildren, Ryan Wollenzin (Heather), Kristin Wollenzin, and Stephanie Sharpless; sister, Gloria Williams; half-sister, Ruth Greear; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Landen, and Grayson Wollenzin. She also is survived by many loved nieces and nephews, and a close family friend, Robert Haymans.

Fay will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her love for those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
