Eugenia "Genie" Carson Webb, age 89, passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2024 in the presence of her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Genie was born in Gulfport, MS and lived there most of her life.  She moved to Richmond Hill several years ago.

She was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport and a member of the Scrap Iron Sunday School Class.  Genie was a member of Gulfport Woman's Club, the C.P.O. Wives Club, Newcomers Club, and a member of the Gulfport Garden Club.

Genie was preceded in death by her parents, Searle Hewes Carson, Sr. and Eunice Campbell Carson; her former husband, Henry Austin Terry; her sister, Betty Reeves; two brothers, Searle Carson, Jr. and Will Carson.

She is survived by her former husband, Charles Roy Webb; her two daughters, Fran Thomas (Bob) and Cindy Upton (Mike); her sister-in-law, Billye Carson. She was known as "Nanaw" to her grandchildren, Tiffany Guarisco (Joe), Kenny Upton, Cynthia Udinsky, Christi Pace (Ashton), and Kaylee Medve (Brandon); and "NaNa" to her great-grandchildren, Holdyn, Hadley, Kiley, Mathis, Brantley, Bryden, Brody; and "NaNa" to her foster great-grandboys,  Nathaniel and Knox; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2024 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport, Mississippi with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi, Mississippi.

Genie's family would like to thank Magnolia Manor Assisted Living and Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care while she was living there.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Thomas, Jr., Holdyn Udinsky, Lucas Davis, Dana Stanfield, and Dakota Stanfield.
