Richmond Hill-Ella Passmore, 109, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Ella was born in Helena, GA in 1907. She lived in Claxton for almost 50 years before moving to Richmond Hill. She loved to quilt, cook, garden, and she especially liked being outdoors. Ella drove back and for to church in Claxton until she was 100 years old and held a valid driver's license until she was 105.
Ella was preceded in death by husband, Dan Passmore and her daughter, Cornelia Howard.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Jami Miles (Randy) of Midway and Deana Livingston of Guyton; her great-grandchildren, James Bragg III, Justin Miles, Ian Morrison, and Rayna Morrison.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Jesup City Cemetery in Jesup, GA.
