Edgardo Ortiz Cruz, born December 26, 1972, passed away on November 4, 2025. He lived in Richmond Hill, Georgia, for the past 10 years and previously made his home in Texas.

Edgardo proudly served his country as a combat medic in Iraq during his 26 years in the U.S. Army. After retiring from the military, he spent the last five years working as a realtor in the Savannah area, a career he truly enjoyed as a hobby. He also loved working on cars and spending time with family.

He is survived by his parents, Manuel Ortiz and Ramonita Cruz; his loving wife, Wildy Ortiz; his son, Emanuel Ortiz; his daughters, Gabriella Ortiz and Daniella Ortiz; and his sisters, Bethzaida Ortiz and Jennith Ortiz.

Edgardo will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
