Donnie Joe Matthews, age 74, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024.

Donnie was born in Florence, SC and lived there most of his life. He was a retired pool construction worker having worked for Spas and Things for many years.

He liked to fish and throw darts.  Donnie enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Donnie is survived by his daughter, Amy Houston; his son, David Matthews; a sister, Patricia Gould; a brother, Ronnie Stone; 3 grandchildren, Bryce Matthews, Kaitlyn Burdette, and Christien Houston; two great-grandchildren, Ellie Burdette and Asher Burdette; and many nieces and nephews.

It was his wishes that no services be held.
