Donna Lingenfelser, born on September 4, 1963, passed away on May 12, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born in Maryland, but passed away in Savannah GA.

Her parents were William Lingenfelser and Myrtle Bearden. Donna is survived by her brothers, William Lingenfelser and Fred Vest; her sisters, Robin Lingenfelser, Victoria McDonald, and Peggy Handy; and her beloved children, Christina Harper, Emanuel Pontikakis, and Androniki Pierson.

She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren: Cassidy Lawson, Vanessa Fields, Autumn Pontikakis, Zoey Hillard, Eli Pontikakis, Nikolai Pontikakis, Ryan Pierson, Chase Harper, Rosalie Pierson, and Emanuel Pontikakis III, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

For many years, Donna worked alongside her former husband at Pete's Sandwich Shop in Savannah, where she became well known and loved by the community. Later, she fulfilled her dream of owning her own restaurant, D-n-T Diner in Bloomingdale, Georgia, where her warm personality and welcoming spirit touched countless lives.

Donna was known for her infectious laughter, radiant smile, and larger-than-life personality. She could light up any room simply by walking into it. Her kindness, strength, and unforgettable presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
