On Wednesday, January 20 th 2021, Dolores Schmid, loving mother of five, passed away at the age of 90 years and 4 months. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Paul.

Dolores was born on September 10th , 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Margaret Mutter.
She proudly worked for Fidelity Bank in NJ for many years until her retirement. Upon retirement, she moved to Lulu, FL with her husband Paul to own and run the Lulu General Store where she acted as the Lulu Post Mistress. Her greatest pride came from raising her children.

Dolores is survived by her five children; Susan Hubley (Michael), Barbara Barba, Linda Esposito (Ralph), Paul Schmid (Lauren), and Amy Cathers (Kevin). Grandmom, or 'Maudee' as she was affectionately known by some, had 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Dolores, along with her husband Paul, embraced the town of Lulu, FL as their own, and quickly became an active member of the community. She cherished the time spent with her quilting group, completing projects for local charities and those in need. Her Lutheran faith was important to her, and she regularly attended services at Lulu Advent Christian Church.

A private interment service will be held at a later date.
