Diane Cecilia McCarthy (nee Doll) born February 17th, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, died peacefully on April 2nd, 2024 at the age of 77. Preceded in death by her parents Howard & Ann Marie Doll (nee MacIntosh), by her loving husband John McCarthy, her siblings: Virginia Buscavage, Bill Doll, Donald Doll, Edward Doll, Howard Doll, and Walter Doll, sisters-in-law Dianne Doll, Judy Doll, Susan Doll, brothers-in-law Nick Bodner & Rick Wedge, and nephew Brian Wedge.

Diane is survived by her cherished family. Mother to Sandy Hart and Ted Howard, Grandmother to JoAnna (Tyler) Coffey. Great grandmother to three, Kennedy, Cillian, and Carver Coffey.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters Janet Bodner, Sharon (Lou) Malek and Karen Wedge; and beloved niece Dawn (Steven) Taillard along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Diane was always kind, sweet and generous to everyone she met. She always opened up her heart to others. She volunteered for Hospice of Savannah after moving to Georgia in 2004.
