Richmond Hill-Diane Carrington Harrison, age 67, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

Diane was born in Athens, GA. She was a school teacher of over 30 years having taught at Central Education Center in Newnan and Newnan High School. Upon retiring, she and her husband moved to Richmond Hill to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Diane is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alex Harrison; her daughter, Amanda Harrison Hendricks (Tim) of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Cole, Jack, and Amelia Hendricks; a brother, Allen Carrington (Cindy) of Cumming, GA; sisters-in-law, Ginger Carrington of Augusta, GA, and Barbara Parke (Richard) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Martin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
