Dennis Jon Birdsall, age 69, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis was born in Tacoma, Washington and has lived in Richmond Hill since 1993.  He was a retired U.S. Army Ranger Veteran having served 24 years.  He was a member of Daniel Baptist Church.

He enjoyed golfing with his buddies. Dennis loved metal detecting and woodworking.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Kathleen and Leonard Birdsall; his father, William Krueger; and his sister, Debbie Bundro.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly Birdsall; two sons, Andrew Birdsall (Angie) and Aaron Birdsall (Tamara); his grandchildren, Samantha Holcomb (Jonathan), Hunter Birdsall, Austin Birdsall, Carsyn Birdsall, and Malachi Birdsall; his brothers, Larry Krueger and Terry Krueger; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2024 at Daniel Baptist Church.

Burial with military honors will follow in Daniel Baptist Cemetery.
