David Keith Elrod, age 57, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Keith was born in Ardmore, Tennessee.  He lived in Savannah for many years before moving to Ellabell 21 years ago.

He was a mechanic and painter.  Keith liked cooking and grilling, hunting, but most of all he liked to crappie fish.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandson.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, David Elrod.

He is survived by his parents, Linda and Ricky Toone of Ellabell; a son, Brandon Keith Elrod of Ellabell; a brother, John Elrod (Connie) of Athens, AL; a sister, Teresa Rich (Brad) of Grady, AL; and his grandson, Brantley Keith Elrod.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.  A visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Daniel Baptist Cemetery.
